Car Hire

The easiest way to travel in this area is by car because of our rural location. However you may prefer to travel to Scotland by other means and hire a car for your stay. It is advisable to arrange your hire car before travelling to ensure that it is available when you arrive.

Travel to Scotland by Rail

Our nearest railway station is at Aviemore with a regular service from Edinburgh, London and the south. Travel by day with The Great North Eastern Railway on the route of The Flying Scotsman and enjoy the scenery, or overnight on Scotrail's Caledonian Sleeper and awake refreshed in the Highlands.

Ferry Services to Scotland

Superfast ferries operate from Zeebrugge in Belgium to Rosyth near Edinburgh. Ferries are available from The Netherlands, Norway and Sweden to Newcastle. There is also a link from Belfast to Stranraer.

Fly to The Highlands of Scotland

Our nearest airport is at Inverness. Aberdeen airport is also within easy reach. Regular direct flights are available from Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Southampton, Bristol, Norwich, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds/Bradford, Humberside, Newcastle, Teeside, Isle of Man, Belfast, Dublin, Jersey, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
